Subject: Your Daily Market Update Newsletter Has Arrived

 Dear Member and valued subscriber,

Stocks in the US were mixed on Monday with the Dow closing at a record high, but weakness in large capitalization tech and internet stocks weighed on the Nasdaq and the S&P 500. Among the slumping tech sector’s worst performers were Facebook Inc. which was down 1.9%, while Alphabet Inc. closed down 1.2%. Amazon.com finished down 3.2% and Netflix Inc fell 1.3%. Apple was little changed ahead of its earnings which are due on Tuesday.

The Dollar was lower on Monday and near 13-month lows against a basket of other currencies, pressured lower by investor concerns over deepening US political uncertainty and doubts over whether the Federal Reserve will raise interest rates again this year.

Oil futures erased earlier losses to settle higher on Monday, rallying into the final bell, with the US benchmark settling above $50 per barrel.
